Congratulations! There's nothing better in the world - nothing - than being a Dad. Enjoy it! I have a sixteen year old daughter and so far she's turning out fine, but the next few years scare me to death.

If I can find me thingies though he might not be a boy tomorrow. And in answer to your question the daddy really is a natural blonde. We thank all the jolly SAHB gang for their good wishes. At least I can sleep at nights now.

Congratulations mertsfan. It is a magical time. Soak it all up, it will fly past.
My youngest son and his 18 month old son were playing in my garden this afternoon.
It don't seem like five minutes, as they say
Best wishes to you and yours.

Me and young G are here past his bed time but trying to keep up the ruse of our farmyard pals being members of the family. This time we have ten new members but not sure whether they are boys or girls. We think you have to wait a bit before you can tell. If it's girls it's omlette and if not unfortunately it's cock o van(Oooer Missus). In fact there's a topic for a new thread. My favourite 'Carry On' quote.

Here's hoping it's mainly little girl chicklings - but surely you need a boy or two too, if they are to multiply I'm such a townie!!

This is just to prove the point that I am not always a lurker.
I'm not sure that my neighbours would be overly pleased if I keep the males when they start to crow as soon as the sun comes up.
