I just KNEW you'd have a good selction of stuff, Sarge - and of course you deserve to have the portrait - Cath must think so too, or you wouldn't have it Keep posting - remember, this is really for Ginnie and those who never did see the band - but really are fans despite never having the experiences we have had

.......Oh dear oh dear Sarge...not THAT auld ebay trick o gettin a pic o yer bare willie online.....You really let me doon this time!! ;D Aye they used to do it wae teapots & stuff. For anybody who doesn't know, some pervs used to take a pic of a "shiny or reflective" object when they where naked & you could see their reflection, then they'd post it on ebay. I would just send a picture of ma ............... ;D ;D

Just out of curiousity... I've never seen an oil painting framed under glass. Is there a reason for this?

Just out of curiousity... I've never seen an oil painting framed under glass. Is there a reason for this? Hello Ginnie No real reason, just personal preference, if they're under a certain size (no too big) i'll put glass on em (BR'll probly giv me a tellin off for it!). That one o Alex is oil on primed 300gm fabriano, so it really needs tae be under glass. Thanks fer askin tho

Oh look TK its in a stripey You're a clever framer, BR. I can see you do CUSTOM framing. Expensive but excellent quality. My sister is the manager of a local picture framing establishment (my wife also worked there for fifteen years). They have an annual convention type thing where each franchise does a custom frame job to show off. One year it was in New York and she made a picture frame that was a functioning fish tank. Was quite the display at her store. Poor goldfish grew though over time and couldn't turn around in the tank. So we brought him home and gave him a 25 gallon tank just for himself. I think he liked that a lot.

Oh and trying to get the smell of erm.. smoke, out of my clothes the next day
