And that 12 year old kid from Swansea who was on one of those talent shows. He's been allowed to witter on about Michael Jackson.
I know Jacko was talented, but this is too much fuss.

I know Jacko was talented, but this is too much fuss. that 12 year old kid was going to sing with jackson at the O2 arena.. im no jackson fan but i bet he was over the moon when he was asked? then when he passed away, the kid would have been devastated. i thought it was a nice touch by the jackson family to ask the kid over to perform at the memorial.. the kid did well.

I was watching the MJ memorial last night until Rachel rang - so I missed the big bit in the middle and only caught the end thereafter.
I have to say, I was rather enjoying it - the eulogies and spoken tributes may well have seemed like so much hogwash - but they were delivered by people who had known the man.
Their words - as much as anything - were designed to bring peace and closure the the bereaved Jackson family and friends - they were not for Michael Jackson - he's dead.
If any of it made this time easier for the family, then it was a good thing. The humour and love with which the memorial was presented must have helped.
I thought the family was tremendously gracious and dignified throughout - as they celebrated the life of their son, brother, Daddy and Uncle - he was just a person and his family mourn for him - as would you for yours.
