roses are red violets are purple sugar is sweet and so is maple syrple trying to make up a rhyme to keep up with time not too hard, not that I'm making up a ditty from a smile to sublime but with the thought in mind going around in a circle just reminds me of an old five eyed, long necked six horned, pot belly'd spotted and striped bowed legged thyrple Those thyrples can be SO invasive, EssBee!! Nice one

ooh wee, oh gee this deafening silence has the most fatal tendency. a tick then a tock as the hands spin around the motionless unfingered numbered face harbinger. wondering how high, thoughts of just why no movement detected only the dance of a clock. a clock. doesn't contain grey matter or convoluted electric shock. the case is not bone and no magnetic juice to float in, just metal and rock. probably were the old adage "stone face" began it's mock. must it be derisive? can't it be for fun? with so little to notice perhaps there aren't even ticks or tocks or clocks to make mocks and would a care even dare to show itself where this deafening silence has the most fatal tendency. most try transcendency. but to go all alone, see and hear a tick then a tock.

Thank you Catherine, have a kharma! Thanks Ess Bee Today's offering is rather good too, your brain must be wired a very specific way, to even think of a topic

How to resist a poetry thread, Catherine the great question should be an other thread that SAHB fans brains are wired a very specific way, to think of topics. Thank you Catherine. My trying to write songs is like everyones, some are much better than others. I can't seem to produce more than little verses of late.
an innocuous little ditty just for fun anything but witty no brain tease not a pun but a word play not too pithy an absence of deep meaning lines that just read easy won't cost a nickel or a dime or a forty or a fifty only a moment of time this little verse, so thrifty

thought of this one from pages back, a rerun sort of:
well what do you know what do you hear what do you say just dropped in just to see if some one had written some words anyway or anyhow for today but alas there is news news for today a "hello" or "good bye" a "how've you been" or "good day" an "it's been so long" or "on my way" a "missed you much" or "cheerio old friend" no word no letter no dot no dash just blank page and blank space an empty verse yes alas what there was so I guess I'll just have to pass on some words today and perhaps then come back to look again because there just might be a "you're looking good" or "see you later" a "greetings to all" or "after while alligator" yeah there just might be I'll come back and see maybe there won't maybe there will looking to look and see have to wait until a little later

a rhyme a day keep the wolves at bay big bad wolves with their huff'n puff'n ways and dangerously sharp toothy grins with those steel-like claws that can tear through any defense or charade well, just for today anyhow scared them away lucky, just got lucky for a day with a rhyme a little rhyme to save a day now comes tomorrow to not become the beasts fillet hoping some one can rhyme and save another day

thank you Catherine Fender Forum Bro wrote "I'm leaving" and I responded: some one said "I'm leaving" they're going away to do another thing some thing other than stay in this place of information, conversation and fun were they would visit almost every day until now when things changed so they've decided, and gone away was it something that was said or a word or so we should say did they receive a little psychic bite when entering a Forum fray wondering why because missing someone brings on a bit of gray that vague feel of loss, so if we wrote them could we sway just sway them to stick around pondering, really, would they

rock and rollers mantra ( while they're young, ha )
just a rock and roll warrior built to thrill, not to fight touring every world city for music lovers insight
rock and rollin' all evenin' stayin' up through the night likes hot sex in the mornin' when his girl ain't uptight
stayin' drunk as a skunk flyin' high as a kite play's guitar like a heathen every Saturday night
to church then on Sunday to ask the Lord "shine loves light" on his knees prays for mercy keep his loved ones alright
just a rock and roll warrior armed with musical might saves the world with his songs sonic star, rainbow bright

then I saw a thread titled "love" this sudden flaw a fitting Forum glove
with those lovely eyes and the prettiest nose enamored of her most catching smile I'm glad she has one of those
soft blush of her cheek gentle rouge on her lips aphrodisia is she from the top of her head to her little toes tips
so, let's talk about it well, you've thought about this then you'll have to see if there will be some more riffs

thank you Penny! posted this on the Fender Forum to see if it would get a nibble, so far the writers aren't nibbling hmm, reluctance to write to invoke the unwillingness right like days disinclination to night or darkness aversion to light if thoughts are those perhaps expressed in prose this different method to pose obvious as in front of ones nose trying just to say be that as it may for free won't have to pay like a sculptor molding clay what will the object be will it display objectively thoughts to words cohesively passion for life conducively to give up, but, "hope springs eternal" or as a Scot once said "he who lives on hope lives on a very lean diet" I have been losing some pounds lately, lol (lots of love)

inspired by a young writer on the Fender Forum:
good for you to like writing songs after all when remarkable thoughts come along you can write them down on paper or record them for the throng just don't keep them a secret as would the ancient tong let us all hear them if you will by and by and make your prong keep them thoughtful from the heart and play them loud and strong one by one then saving the the world with your songs

blather blather blather
more than a mystery now how to progress similar to a purple cow I reluctantly confess to go or to stop stuck at the canyon bottom marooned on the mountains top either way no help around feeling like an unwanted prop
like when driving in town if one's seat belt isn't on one'll be arrested by a cop were we thinking of what should be best when we elected those new guests because so convincingly they professed a bigger governing body hoping and changing for society is most assuredly the best
now that we've discovered all progress is blocked and the speak that they've spoken was just a big crock of stuff no one wanted not even their lot went to the store for some help clerk said we're out of that stock a new regulation say's help sales should stop
were is sherlock when you need him the most help is sorely needed even from his ghost if that were possible and he or his ghost could solve this mystery I'd drink him a toast or two or three

busker's tra-la
the fine young man, with a guitar sat there on the steps at Trafalgar with his tip jar near, he was playing a song about his old lady, in days long gone similar to one, an older lady watching him wanted the angels to hear for her thoughts of a boy she knew so dear this young man's song was faster in time, more urgent his tempo all rock and roll, made for any young gent the old lady asked for a sweeter happier song, this time a song a little slower is what she had in mind to go back in time for her memory, a waltz so in her mind this old lady could feel that young boy of her girlhood, both now lost with this added description, Viennese schmaltz so play the song the young man did as if from a distance, somewhere far listening for the ring of pennies, dropped into his jar the old lady watched him play, her face so bright as if she was looking at an extraordinary light might have been the memory she longed for is within her mind's sight with her request granted now she must leave the scene listening to that beautiful music was for her like a dream she drops some pennies into his jar spilling onto the steps falling they are making a wonderful ringing noise for that young man playing his guitar.
