Tribute to our Mighty Brave Pirate Warrior Chief and the recent trip to the hunting grounds......... To the tune of "The Tomahawk Kid" (not necessarily in the order that we know..... OOOOHHHHHH! The Missus and The Kid, d'you know what they did? They planned to go a-fishing! O'er hills and glens, past buts'n'bens For fishes they were wishing. chorus (altogether now......) When they set out, great friends both brave and true, There was Chad and Wee John, oh! what a motley crew..... And The Missus and The Kid! Yo ho ho! Yo ho ho! And the Missus and The Kid! Let's be prepared, said Missus - We shouldn't dash or rush; We'll need our tea, you three and me, I'll take some curried mush. chorus They cast their nets and lines out, Their dinner for to trap. They stoked and lit the barbie While Chad performed a rap! chorus "Let's get this straight", said Hoggy, "You cannot hold my hand, I've come to do some fishing, Not to skip across the sand!" guitar solo Oh, The Missus and The Kid, do you know what they did? They caught and ate the fishes; With lemon, nice, and garlic slice, No need to wash no dishes! chorus Oh The Missus and The Kid, now you know what they did. They all came true, their wishes. They chanted out, all loud and proud C'mon, you little fishes! final chorus

Sadly, Hef deleted her original cut'n'paste.......luckily, I kept a copy!! ;D
Half way round Loch Earn is the place where we sit. There isn't any other place quite like it it It isn't at the bottom, it isn't at the top But this is the place where we always stop The curry has gone down well We're full of banter'n'booze So Missus puts his jammies on To have a little snooze. Sshh! Now, Don't we wake him, He's having such a lovely nap, He's even smiling, nodding gently In his stripey nightcap Those jams aren't Marks & Spencers' But they really make the grade. They're certainly not from from Top Man, They must be specially made. They may be made from cotton, Or silk maybe, he'd rather The end result is all the same He looks like The Codfather!! ( very loosely based on AA Milne Half Way Up The Stairs, later poularised by Robin, Kermit's nephew from The Muppets)
