Here I'm gonna be posting pics of whatever artwork I do for Sahbstock II. No comments are really necessary but hints on how to make them better would be welcome. ;D

So these are basically true size. They are small drawings that will be attached inside blank gift cards (that may change) that will be one of a kind original cards. I hope to eventually do two sets with ten cards in a set. This is the first one. My scanner doesn't display them quite right but.. At first I assumed I would be doing only landscapes but on BR's suggestion I am going to attempt to do some portraits. I should point out that I'm not very good at all at faces so this is a learning curve for me. If Hef has any hints.... Zal. (not quite finished)

So this is what I'm thinkin': Basically blank cards with an original drawing on the inside. They are attached to the card using little plastic corner stickons. I was planning to leave everything else blank except for some info regarding picture on the back of the drawing. Should I put any text regarding sahbstock or anything else on the back of the card?

Well, here's my workspace crowding up the kitchen table. I'm having miserable luck with the mini portraits - I'm trying man, I really am... but it seems I'm better at portraying pine trees, the Canadian shield and open waters... Not giving up though... I've got lots of photos to work from - thanks Helen, Missus, and others... Really frustrating right now. No, that isn't Jagger - its supposed to be Maxxxxxxxxxxxxx.....!

But Ginnie, Maxxx REALLY DOES have a look of Jagger about him.......not the lips though - it's the bones. That looks good of him so far and I'm sure I recognise the Boss of Bass there too - I don't think they're too bad at all Have a trot round the thistle meadows on your unicorn.........and come back to it.........

I'm stopping work on my gift card set right now to concentrate on a portrait of Zal. Why Zal? Because I'm not good at portraits and most of his face is obscured by makeup. If it turns out good I MAY attempt an Alex one. See how good I'm doing! What do you think, Hef? ;D

Perfect preparation prevents poor performance........beautifully thought through Ginnie - and the bananas are high in potassium and are an excellent slow release energy food.

Just started my acrylic of Zal. We'll see how it turns out! ...and thats all anybody gets to see of it until Sahbstock! Bring your money! ...at least £50 and even then you're getting a great deal. Remember it will be custom framed by BR so its value will be about £100 or more!
