it will be nice to hear the songs played with a proper musician on bass! (that's me for a kicking next time the big man sees me, mind you, he would have to catch me first)

For God`s sake, don`t open with Faith Healer!!!!! Try something else a wee bit unexpected like Weights made of lead or Thar she Blow`s or a song that never gets played at sahb concert`s. They have more great songs than F.H. or Vambo. They are fantastic songs but be a bit dangerous guy`s. And good luck.

Normally I would say 'yes! Good call Jack', but on this occasion I'd agree with Faith Healer, the intro's just so damn good.

Can see where Jackvambo's coming from, but, in homage to SAHB in all the years past, its gotta be Faith Healer as the opener, without it, it wouldn't feel right.

fuuny thought just occured, thinking back to the 70s, Gary Glitter sang "wanna be in my gang?", may the arsehole rot in hell, could you imagine how powerful it would've been with SAHB delivering the same message?

Just for a change - and it worked in the early part of the 76 tour - why not kick off with Love Story, incorporate SAHBstock Tea Party and Delilah, if you must and finsh - with a finish to end all finishes with everybody's spine tingling favourite - FAITH HEALER??!!

It was good enough for yer actual SAHB.......I, personally, would be very tempted to put the normal encores up first and finish with the right belters that are everyone's fave.....but that's just me.....

In an ideal world that would be great but unfortunately we will have limited(if any) real rehearsal time so we have to choose the set accordingly

note to self.....Catherine must pay more attention & stop being so careless and frivolous......... God bless ye hen! I've just realised my earlier reply was rather blunt but I have a good reason.........and it is thus. I was only in the house for a short while on my way from job #1 to job #2. I don't usually come home but the reason I did today was...................I was down in Troon today with some of the guys who use our service, there we where in the lovely weather havin our lunch ootside when................... SPLATa seagull shat aw ooer me!! My T shirt was unsaveable so I had to walk around for an hour with a denim jacket buttoned up & no t shirt underneath & bird s hit stains oan ma denims. I looked like a hairy!! So obviously I hud tae come hame tae change. There lies ma reason for the blunt reply!!
