I rather hoped it was "welcome" but my brownie days are far behind me now!!! Do you think we are too old to rejoin?? We could always look into it.......I was a Seconder in The Kelpies - never to be a Sixer - Brown Owl got married (to the man who was later my high school biology teacher) and Tawny Owl got married the following year - I presented her with a lucky horseshoe - and that buggered our Brownies - no one to run them - however - still, 49 years later, I promise to do my best, to do my duty to God and the Queen to help other people, every day especially those at home.

Well done!! I would never have remembered that! I think we may have to get new uniforms...ours may be a little snug these days.

Ours were DREADFUL, brown sacks with belts and silly woolly hats - and that bloody daft triangle made into a tie that could be a sling if someone broke their arm - tying the fecker could lead to a broken arm!!! The uniforms are much more trendy and bright now - but I would rather not brown and yellow........we'd have to be the Pinkies....... ;D

The dresses were dreadful, not practical at all. I wonder who came up with brown and yellow, yuk, yellow and green would have been better. Like the sound of Pinkies. I say, old bean, do you think we've ruined this thread somewhat!!
