Eden will LOVE it!! I was in my early twenties by the time I got to Disneyland, Anaheim, California - as opposed to Disneyworld, Florida - and the memory is still vivid - it is the most marvellous place for "grown ups" - to really see and meet and have photo opportunities with all your Disney favourites - it's AMAZING!!! The only caution I would give for young fella me lad would be, it's a long, hot day, with too much too see (and take in) all in one session. All around the Magic Kingdom we were surrounded by young families - 4, 5 & 6 year olds, hot & bothered, but finally asleep, exhausted, in Dad's arms, head on his shoulder and toddlers in the complimentary strollers (buggies) - also fast asleep!!! Hopefully they'll either be staying on the resort, in which case they'll probably have unlimited, anytime access; or at least be staying just a shuttle bus ride away, so they can take a break, have their hand stamped have a refreshing shower perhaps a snoozette and go back in the evening - that's when yet more magic unfurls..............the Main Street Parade but with lights on all the floats and characters THEN, you know the fireworks over the castle that introduces every Disney feature? Well - IT'S REALLY REAL!!!! Fabulous fireworks - AND Tinkerbell zooms along a wire, I mean, flies just above your heads - Cath he will FREAK!!!! It really is the BEST note to Cath - consider stowaway tactic.......

You really need a plan especially when it comes to the little ones it is a must to get them back to the room for a nap after all the excitement- also its wise to bring snacks it can get pricey and bring along re usable water bottles -you will need to hydrate and it will cost u $2.50 for a 16oz bottle of water (got to pay fer that magic) Most resorts on property also offer a" bottomless"mug that u pay for once and then can refill as many times u like throughout your stay. ~ also i advise that the parks have what they call "After magic or before Magic hours where they open up the parks a couple of hours early for guests only & keep them open late. We got to go on everything we wanted with no wait on one evening when the Magic Kingdom was open till 1 am-Same for Epcot that closed up at midnight.

Just don't pin it to the wee guy's tee shirt........... No....I'll pin it tae the big guy's tee shirt!!!! ;D ;D ;D ARF!!!! Christopher was only 9 at the time and had only just got over scarlet fever (none of your ordinary tonsilitis for my boy!! ) and I took him on my own to Disneyland - I'd been gagging to back for over 15 years!!!! It is all SO exciting and fabulous and warm and long and hard work but great fun - he went through a phase of asking the silly questions that tired overwhelmed kids ask "can we" "can we" "can we" of which I tired to such a degree that I bought a tee shirt in self defence - "no" or "later" or "we'll see" - just brought about the inevitable "WHY NOT" The tee shirt had a mommy bear and a baby bear on the front and the motto underneath said - cos I'm the Momma Bear - that's why!!!! I just had to point at the tee shirt...........it brought about a big laugh and "I know - you're the Momma Bear!" ;D
