There's a picture outside the Queens Hotel in Leeds of the chef in his kit with a narrative at the side that says ' I cooked 400 medium steaks for a dinner and at the end someone said 'Well Done''. Is that irony?

Well done Andy Murray. If it takes another 76 years for the next British Grand Slam I'll only be 133. No comments from north of the border - Fred Perry wasn't.

Well done to Hoggy for all his hard work organising Sahbstock2012. Now, Hoggy, what we need next is for you to organise the English goverment and then get behind Alex Salmond, then the Welshies could do with a good kick up the bum too. If anyone can sort them out, you can Jim. I've put my matches away for now BTW! ;D

Good evening Boys and Girls. Now you don't hear much from me, but from time to time I do have a little wander around the forum. Tonight is one of those times. I've just been reading some of the many, many posts over the past couple of years from members old and new, most thankfully still with us and some sadly departed. I had the pleasure to meet many of you in February at the Peoples Palace and you made me feel very welcome. Even though I've read lots of the posts and threads, something struck me tonight and in my very humble opinion, the following collection of words (not an exhaustive list by any means!) sums up all of you guys: Enthusiasm, camaraderie, humour, friendship, organisation, inventiveness, support, loyalty, compassion, ideas........SAHBStock, Memorial weekend, gigs, memorabilia. As I said, not an exhaustive list, but I've run out of steam! So, to every member of the SAHB forum......WELL DONE!!
