Catherine, what anti-Zal rant was that? I don't recall EVER saying anything anti-Zal! In fact, he's a Facebook chum, he's read one of my books, and I've just sent him my songs. So what are you taking about? I stopped posting on here when someone (Trudy I think) said something to me like "who hasn't taken her medication today, then?", which I thought was really bitchy and unkind. Alex was a really, really special person to me and I think I was special to him too. It is not my fault if some people can't accept that, or feel jealous. See thread "Ripping off a 14 year old" in the SAHB section.......

As an actor yourself, do you go to see much in the way of theatre productions? Who are your favourite playwrights and who are your favourite actors?

This may end the questions on a bit of a downer, do you think, or indeed know, whether your father regretted splitting up SAHB? it seemed to be quite a rash decision at the time.

I don't think that anyone who had any real respect for the memory of Alex, would be so mean and unkind to someone who was so dear to him. (I never saw him write "I love you" on anyone else's autograph.) Especially when that person is vulnerable and has Bipolar. One of Alex's most endearing qualities was his compassion. It's a pity you do not take after him. I hope that having a forum in which to attack a vulnerable person with mental illness, makes you feel big and important.

This was always a possibility, as it is with any Q & A but optomism is a must.
I'm sad to say, that, having considered the situation, Alex has decided not to go ahead with this.
A big vote of thanks to him for supporting The Tribs fabulous fundraising birthday party, in February and for accepting the Scottish New Music Lifetime Achievement Award.
Thanks for taking part, SAHBsters, especially the new members, stay awhile anywayz.

It has been a pleasure to meet Alex on the two occasions that I have, it would be lovely if he could join us all again one day.

My oh my!! There's been a change of heart; the meds that Alex had for his dental abcess rather knocked him about and left him not at his best - when he last made contact about the Q & A.
This morning, his replies were received......watch this space
