Well, this was unexpected: the webcam post has picked up some web traffic, and I've been getting a lot of emails this evening to gain access to the webcast (if it works!) - or for copies of camera footage afterwards if it doesn't. I've had multiple emails from the UK, USA, Canada, France, Poland, Germany, Sardinia and Australia so far. And I'm gobsmacked by the response. Proof, I think, that the love of this band is alive and well - and they want SAHB to continue. I'm stunned actually - maybe because this is the first time I've been on the frontline of something SAHB-related - but people really want to see this event, live or otherwise. Kudos, once again, should be given to the Tomahawk Kid and Sarge. Word really is spreading. For the members of SAHB - the audience is out there. Alive and waiting

I'm going to make sure I'm prepared for Saturday - hooking up the computer to my bigger TV screen and adding an "eleven" to my volume knob. And grabbing an eight pack of Guinness. Too bad I'm not allowed to smoke in the house, or everything would be perfect. Also, I'm hooking up a webcam too so it will be a two way street! And if my minnie-me attends, please don't hurt or humiliate him, he's just a "wee" guy. See, I'm getting the lingo...
T.K. will be bringing my small scale version, so I will be in good hands. No fondling allowed.
And you know I'd be there in person if only it wasn't five thousand frikken miles away.

I've put a pointer on the news page, so hopefully you should get even more feedback. If by any luck there is another convention, it should be held in glasgow, And TK & CO should run it. me thinks its gonna be a crazy night!! ;D See you all there. cheers md

So I totally agree with you there and as for TK and Co organising it I think that would be a deffo. Nice one Mike

Just a weird thought,
Maybe you could have little flags or something in a display of all the countries that will be viewing the webcast, just to show SAHB how far reaching their music is, how widespread the appreciation is for what they created...

A good idea - not sure where I can find wee flags before Saturday tho! ;D BUT! When I speak with Chris, Ted and Maxxxxxxxxx - I'll make a point of telling them about the response from both the UK and overseas too. I am, in all honesty, taken aback by the response to this gig. There is a genuine and widespread love of their music, and I've seen it for myself for the first time, in the last few days. And the SAHB boys should be told about it. ;D
