In a film called field Of dreams , a voice says "if you build it he will come" well i think that philosophy is a grand plan, we're gonna have a wee shindig for all SAHB fans and forum members, ALL ideas and suggestions welcome (apart from my naked mud wrestling one, can't think why), its all theory just now, but as and when arrangements come to pass, everyone gets to know, all the forum regulars and stalwarts, look through your address books for old SAHB pals that have drifted away, give them a wee bell or a wee text, even a postcard, let them know.

Round the corner from the hotel that Pete, Pete and I always stay in is a bar called Solid Rock. (The one with the picture of Dio painted on the window, Pete) I speak to a few people on FB who know it very well as it is their 'local'. I think they have bands there and might also do charity stuff as well. Might be worth approaching?

I was in there on the Friday before SS3 and it's a long and narrow bar, so maybe not ideal for watching live music. May be a bit small for the numbers too. Still, it wouldn't hurt for someone living local to give it the once-over in the 'cold light of day'.

My vote (for what it's worth) would be for The Sensational Charitea Party but as the proceeds are going to the Alex Harvey Memorial Fund there is no charity benefitting from the event. I am not disagreeing with the fund getting the profits (far from it, I am 100% behind that) I just thought I should point out that such a name would be wrong.
(sorry if anyone has mentioned this before)
