Urrrrmmmm........ ! Urm, indeed!! Sounds like Fritz is drumming on a selection of Peak Frean's tins..........I did like the dancing cauliflower at the top of the (unrecognisable) intro tho'!! ;D

Hmm, better than the other but not great. You just wouldn't get the intro tingling your spine or thundering its way through to your bone marrow in either case, bless them they have rather missed the point. Did like the voice over at the beginning though, clever touch

We've seen Nick Cave a couple of times and have all his stuff, including this.
However, I rather went aff him when, in the three days before People's Palace 2012, I contacted and had good positive response from Whispering Bob Harris, Joe Elliot, Mark Radcliffe, Ian Hunter, Rick Wakeman and, of course Trudy; they all very readily put together some words and memories for me to read out at the intro (as a surprise for Stu Yahoo, who had planned so many surprises for everyone else)
Via the royalties manager at Chrysalis, I got hold of an email address to contact Mr Cave. (tenacity IS my middle name)
Right up to the wire by now and leaving for Glasgow within the hour, I had a reply from his personal assistant, who advised that he could not possibly give a few minutes of his time to give us a short statement; it must be understood that he gets contacted all the time and couldn't begin to give to any, far less all all.
Harrumph!! Up yours Nick Cave - still!!

I quite liked Marina and her version of the Hammer Song!!Bizarrely, she has emulated all odd tones and inflections of Alex and even got a right good Glasgow "sUrface" in there
The other lot, you see, you can't keep a good chune down!! Plenty of grunt, not too bad at all!!

Hmm, jury's out on this one; not sure I like his voice, rather sounds like he might like to puke.........

Included as an oddity...

Hmm, bit insipid at the very outset then, to my relief, beefed up quite nicely - then the vocalist piped up, oh dear, I hit the off button!!

Hmm, jury's out on this one; not sure I like his voice, rather sounds like he might like to puke......... Paul DiAnno, a godfather of British steel, covering a godfather of Rock and Roll. Pretty cool.

Did like the voice over at the beginning though, clever touch techno, youthful vibe early jade that blessed pointed beginning, so sly, so am I, clever.
