Watching an interview with Prince Philip to celebrate his 90th Birthday this year.
Dear me, what a miserable old man. He needs to loosen up a bit and have a bit of fun.
Cath, can send him some Disney movies, Ginnie, can send him some of wine. TK, can send him a bit of trout (what do you mean, he's already got a trout!!)Peter the Bard of Barrow can write him a birthday poem and I will make him some scones. That might cheer the miserable old blighter up!!

A film called The Agony and The Ecstasy. Its about Michaelangelo. Hadn't realised he was an American. ;D I always thought Michaelangelo was gay, but perhaps I'm thinking of Carravagio. Anyhoo, film makers in the olden days wouldn't have let a character be gay even if he was in real life and as he is played by Charlton Heston a man who would probably rather have shot his own dick off than play someone less than 100% straight its not going to be a story very faithful to reality is it?

Just finished a painting I was workin on - a Racing Greyhound called "Gold Paint" ...It's "real" name is Roger....I didn't know that racing dogs had a racing and a kennel name. The Owner's Father said the first time he saw it race he was standing at the finish line and as the dog approached he yelled "C'mon Roger". His Son (who owns the dog) grabbed him back from the fence and told him not to shout his "real" name because if the dog heard him he would stop dead in his tracks and tootle over for a pat!!! ;D ;D ;D Erk!! Roger the dog!!
Well done - another work in progress reaches glorious completion!!
I used to know a horse called "State Secret".......his stable name was "Archie"!!!

Watching a programme about people smuggling themselves into the landing gear of aeroplanes to get out of their countries. What a desperate, horrible thing to do.
