How much more will the real world take from the fuckwittedness of "minority" groups? I'm not anything ".....ist" of any sort but I could be really tempted.

Here's a random thought, why don't ALL humans stop embracing things that make us into minoritys, and concentrate on what makes the Human Race a majority, just a thought.

Here's a random thought, why don't ALL humans stop embracing things that make us into minoritys, and concentrate on what makes the Human Race a majority, just a thought. Being in smaller, select groups make humans feel "different" or "special" or "privileged" - anyway, there's many reasons why we tend to do that. On the other hand, being in a majority group makes us feel "dominant" or "right" or "normal". And depending on what kind of group you're in, it has both good sides and bad. Even the "human race" is a minority compared to some other species on this planet as far as numbers go. Our planet may be in a minority as far as life goes. I know I'm getting away from what your point really is - which seems to me to be along the lines of "why don't we all just get along", but I'm just looking at the minority/majority thing a different way. In the early seventies I liked being part of a minority in High School - long hair, rock music, drugs etc. because I didn't want to be a part of the establishment, which included the "normal" kids at my school.

I was just thinkin that my brain hurts
funny thing about "minorities"-there are so many of them that they actually are the "majority"
why is it the Chinese take out always has something missing; or does that mean the next person has something extra?; but then something would be missing in theirs also So does everyone wind up with something they dont want? No that cant be...must be some kind of pattern-so how do wind up with the extra?where do you jump in?
Did I tell you my brain hurts?

I used to be a hippy (sort of ) and try and change the world into how i thought it should be .. all fair and equal .... then one day ... one Sept day .. i understood that not all people want the same .. the politics and beliefs were way beyond anything i thought possible ... so now .. i look out for me and mine and i have a problem with any minority who would do us harm !!

I know this will not sound very rock and roll but I confess. I do my ironing on Sunday morning and watch the telly while I'm doing it. Around this time of year I watch the winter sports from wherever they may be. I'm quite partial to all of the sports but particularly like the bobsleigh and cross country. I bet you are wondering where this is going... Yesterday I nearly ironed my hand when watching the cross country ski the commentator mentioned several times.......... Alex Harvey. I listened to the rest of the programme and didn't hear any other band members names mentioned but perhaps will keep an eye out for them.

According to the News they reckon Heather Mills is going on 'dancing on ice'. I can't see that leading to loads of jokes in poor taste and I certainly won't be joining in. However it does make you ask yourself if someone wants the other skate that she doesn't need.

According to today's wikipedia a man wishing to divorce his wife in England a couple of hundred years ago could lead her by a halter to a market and sell her. Bit cheaper than a divorce lawyer. I bet Sir Paul wishes it still applied.

My favourite Heather Mills joke is: When they were together Sir Paul bought her a new false leg for Christmas, it wasn't her main present, just a stocking filler.
