As you know, I hold the Royal Mail in very high esteem, I think they do a great job, at an increased but very reasonable price
On my behalf and at my voluntary expense, they've delivered tee shirts, signed photos, dvds, hugs, drum sticks, very special Christmas, birthday, just thinking of you and wishing you well cards, some signed by the band (with Zal), Michael Schenker, Chris Slade and His Chrisness, to all the furthest reaches of The Realms of All Vibrania, England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales; Canadadia, New York, New York, Connecticut, Long Beach and Cleveland, to name but a few.
Sixtieth birthday cards and gifts for Zal and Chris, the Royal Mail brought to me to be passed on. The precious contents for the frames which were auctioned at SAHBstock were safely shuttled about the country, reaching Stoke in perfect safety. The thirty year old Impossible Dream poster made it to each band member and back to the owner, all courtesy of the Royal Mail. Being on the guest list for an MSG gig did not need the help of the Royal Mail.
The Royal Mail is a wonder and a marvel.
So, I wonder, where could mine have got to?
All my hats have been shampooed and are on holiday in Switzerland, so I would have to have RSVPd a "with regret", however, I do wonder, where could it have got to?
Maybe I shouldn't blame the Royal Mail, perhaps it's my doing for speaking as I find. Hmmmm. Funny how folks can let you down, even this late in life, 't is a lesson learned.......perhaps.

X Aw, thanks Penny, I forgot to mention Russia and Japan......however, thinking on it, we did have (Penny and I) of the case of the disappearing birthday cards in February.
Poor Rachel received only one card - she usually gets loads - and neither mine nor Penny's got there!!!! Penny immediately sent another, which arrived safely. I couldn't decide, in the card shop, so, I ended up sending a further three!! All posted first class at the same time.....................two arrived two days later and the third, a day later still!!! Rachel was tickled pink and still blames Barnsley!! ARF!!! Zal's cards got there......and he lives in Barnsley too - so it's still a mystery!! ;D

Am watching the 10'oclock News. I wonder if it would be possible to address the MP Ed Balls as Mr. Balls with out laughing?
Just a thought. Probably time I was asleep.
Night night fellow nutters

Why do weeds seem to grow quicker than anything else? a) Survival instinct b) To keep you mindlessly but happily busy at the weekend
Alan Titchmarsh says that a weed is just another plant, except it's growing where you don't want it!!

Anyone heard from Sir Ginne? We need updates on Maggie and the cats! Hey, I'm here, Penny. Just obsessed lately with vinyl records. That's how I am. Sometimes its Roman History, Painting, SAHB, The Beatles... I've spent a lot of time finding cheap stereo equipment and getting good deals on records. As a result I've been on the VinylEngine forum a lot learning about equipment, cartridges, stylus, amps and how to get the most out of vinyl.
