Hi Sahbsters, Ive been asked by Platter Pete as we know him, to say that he is not at all well again. Last week as you know from Catherine, he seemed to be getting better, but he ended up in hospital yesterday due to low blood pressure. He is home now and on antibiotics. Got a doc visit today. I know we will all wish him a speedy recovery and I'm sure Clare could do with a rest too!! Get well soon, Pete, big Sahbster hugs will be coming your way. (Come back, Pete )

Well I'm back and feeling well again. Still having to take things a little easy and each day as it comes.
I lost a stone and a half in about 2 weeks (not the best way to do it,) so now I'm looking at keeping that weight off by being more active and eating a lot more healthily.
Thanks for all the messages, kind words and cards etc.
Pete

Its not that the Doctor is getting MG into scrapes its the effect MG is having on the Doctor!!

Hello all, Just say (with Pete's permission - I have a pm) that Pete is back in hospital at the moment. He's hoping to be up and about again soon, but in the meantime he is content to sit and rattle due to excessive amounts of tablets. All the best for a quick recovery Pete. Your going to need feeding up on the Scotch pies after this, mate!!

Hi all, im in hospital until at least Monday. We now know that the problem has been that one side of my heart isnt pumping as well as it should so my pulse is very high and i am always light headed and struggling to breathe.
Its early days yet treatment wise but there is a huge after hospital plan into in place for support.
Thanks again to you all

Great to hear from you PPP!! Just concentrate on getting better. Glad to hear that there is a support/care package for you when you get out of hospital, so there should be after all you've been through. I will come over and visit you when your home and up to visitors. (what do you mean, your staying in hospital? ;D)
