Hi Jim,
Sorry i missed you, but now i know you're ID i can look out for ya ha ha!
Well folks, difficult to choose but i think i'd go for 'The Impossible Dream' There's so many great tunes on that album 'Tomahawk Kid', 'Hot City Symphony', Anthem', 'SGT Fury' it is equal to anything any other band has recorded before it or after...A true masterpiece!

As soon as i remember my STV password, or this box of techno bollox lets me reset it without kicking me off the net, I shall vote - I loved Rainbow by Marmalade and Maggie May too, though, erm, WTF is Maggie May doing in there?? Must check properly later when I'm more awake - Saturday, maybe!! ;D

Don't understand what Rod 'Do you think I'm sexy'' Erm, NO' Stewart is doing in the running, I must say.

This is a totally different format to what i expected, so forgive me for any confusion i might have caused
Choosing 3 tunes from each of the past 4 decades is a good idea...but that panel needs re-educated.
Maggie May is by The Faces Feat Rod Stewart...They were cockneys weren't they? He released solo stuff which might have been more apt
NEXT over The Faith Healer.....!!!! NEXT is a great cover but The Faith Healer is an original tune by the band.
A lot of people have mentioned Runrig's absence from the 80's list - Not personal favourites but they deserved a placing...
f**k Knows Ha Ha
