Hi All
I am trying to establish the date that SAHB played this venue with Wooden Lion as the support act. It was probably between 73 & 75 and I have friends that attended so it did happen ;-)
I have asked both Ted & Zal but neither have been able to assist and have also checked the internet with no luck
So if any SAHB historians can throw any light on the gig I will be eternally grateful
Thanks

Welcome to the forum Stoaty - I'll ask Chris over the weekend - he's a bit of a Marvo the Memory Man - but I think this one's a bit too specific - can but try!!
Maybe contact Mike Royden (The Chef who inspired the song) on Facepaint - he genuinely is a historian and has the MOST amazing & comprehensive SAHB scrap book.
Meantime, join in - have you got any SAHB stories? We have categories and threads for other bands too.........

The 8th December date is not the one as a friend attended this and the support band were Beckett that night. The Wooden Lion guys had let off some smoke during their set and when I say smoke it was enough to fill the hall and when SAHB came on they had to go off again while all the doors were opened to clear the smoke from the place. Cheers Stoaty123
