Right Ted's Next, If you would all be so kind as to supply questions for our fave Lord Of The Skins. Ted must be the best drummer Scotland ever produced so lets give him the respect he deserves. Again the 20 questions will be chosen at random, from the forum and the sahb myspace. no great hurry. cheers md

You never do BIG long drum solos, like the extended ones some guys do, why not. I remember you doing one on the Zalvation dvd, but its only short,,also why do you keep your drumkit to a minimum and not one with a massive array of cymbals tom toms etc. like some guys do.

What is your favourite make/type of drum kit?
Darling Man's favourite was a late 70's Premier Resonator - his distant memory tells him that this is very kit that you used when playing with Rory (we watched it and you on the BBC "Guitar Heroes") it is still Colin's favourite is it yours or have you changed allegience to Pearl??

I find that I can recognize some SAHB songs just listening to the drums. Did you consciously try to play distinctive drum patterns that would stand out in SAHB's music?

If you get time to read much, who is your favourite author? Ooh that's a good question Penny. Which leads me to:- If you ever wrote your autobiography what would you call it?

Ted,
Which musicians/drummer(s) influenced you most when you were growing up and learning the drums. For example, people like Buddy Rich and Gene Krupa? Or more contemporary drummers? And which current drummers do you admire?
Cheers Kim (in Leeds)

Ted,
Zal cast nasturtiums on way the band might be going a little in his answers, saying "I never wanted to be in a tribute band, going through the same routine every time - Alex would be ashamed". How do you see it - and how would you like the band to progress in the future?
Cheers,
Vib
