Is Ted on Friendface? lol My drummer has been recording with Matt Mercado singer for Mind Bomb, Pivot Man, Supermercado, evil genius, recorded their new single with a vintage Ludwig kit then again with a Yamaha rock tour custom kit then again with Frankies black Tama kit and finally settled on a Trick kit. Ted, as a very heavy drummer, did you like John Bonham's style, or, Ringo Starr's, I thought that to cut through the mix with that tiny kit he must have had to slam?

OK, I'll word the question differently, as a drummer, were you a fan of John Bonham: or perhaps: ?

ARF!!! Poor ole EssBee - I wish you lots of luck rephrasing your question - we first posed our questions in December 2008............still waiting for the answers!!
I do know that John Bonham taught Ted how to twirl his dumsticks - he taught him well - he's very good at it!!

Pity he didn't teach him how to keep time! ;D (well Chris would laugh at that one) Actually, Ted's playing got me interested in drums in the first place, & one of his influences was & still is, the mighty Bill Cobham, such speed around the kit.

Ted, another very heavy rock drummer came to mind because of his steadiness and consistent rocking beat. Phil Rudd: did you like his style/technique of heavy rock drumming?

"Sing, Sing, Sing (With a Swing)" Originally entitled "Sing Bing Sing", in reference to Bing Crosby is a 1936 song, written by Louis Prima and first recorded by him with the New Orleans Gang and released in March 1936 as a 78 as Brunswick 7628 (with "It's Been So Long" as the B side). Here Gene and Buddy play the song with the accent on percussion: Ted, were you influenced by these drummers?

whoa horsie,Ted is more missing than I was. A blown hard drive then a search for another. Discovery, install, update, reconfigure, crash, reinstall, update updates, install, install and, did you miss me? Remember, flattery will get you everything or at least extremely close. I most certainly missed y'all darlin's and dearests.

Ted, here is a better one of Lee edit: I couldn't find a video of Lee Kerslake, I saw him once with Uriah Heep at the new Theater in Oxford fall of 1974 and thought that he was very professional.
