I'm a big fan of The Doors. My favorite tracks are probably When the music's over and The End, but I like all their stuff.
One of my favorite Doors records is the lesser known "American Prayer." It was recorded several years after Jim Morrison died. The surviving band members got together and put music over some of Morrison's poetry and spoken word recordings. It's different, and rather dark...but at the same time quite captivating (for me).
