Hi Folks As promised, the link to the file is below. www.megaupload.com/?d=01RZSM6KWarning: This is a large video file (approx 718 MB) that will take a good while to download. It contains 55mins of raw footage of all things SAHBstock. It took me 7hrs to upload, but download speeds should be better. Good Luck

Took me an hour as well Chad, obviously our computers arent up to it. Which bit are you stuck on Sarge? Cheers colin, great stuff anyway This is how I made my DVD. (I use the Linux Operating System) -downloaded file - use DeVeDe to convert the file to a proper DVD structure (VIDEO_TS, AUDIO_TS etc) and created a DVD iso -use Braserio to burn the ISO to a DVD. Played it and it seems fine.
So basically, you either convert the file to a proper DVD structure, or if you're DVD player can't play .wmv files, you will have to convert it to something else. Even older DVD players with play MPEG files - newer ones will play .avi files as well.

I used Nero which did all that automatically for me

Me too Helen... but really, there should not be a need to convert the file, just use a program that can produce a DVD (all modern PCs will have one in-built) like Nero and point to the file you have downloaded and the software will lead you through the various stages for you. You might not even have to do that ('Authoring' it is called). To check, just burn the video file to a data R-W CD ( if room) or R-W DVD and most DVD players that attach to your TV will play it. If it doesn't play, then you will have to Author a DVD, but at least you can re-use the R-W disc Hope this helps Mrs Foster & The Sarge ;D

The only problem I find is that if you buy a computer with Windows, it usually comes with a limited Nero Edition which will burn CD's and DVD's but cannot handle a .wmv file. You need to upgrade to the "Full" edition to do that. Hopefully, that is not the case here. There are available though, freeware or opensource converters if you search enough.
