You might be familiar with the concept of mash-ups - basically mixing songs by different artists to create a "new" one or at least a remix....
Here's a nice twist - from Los Angeles - Rock Sugar (dreadful name) - but this is fun and really well played IMHO.
Put a smile on my face, it did!
Enjoy! Enter Sandman, mixed with (gulp) Don't Stop Believing"!
PLAY LOUD

True. It's all meant to be a spoof tho. I've read that they're a bunch of forty-somethings (apart from the bassist) who have been slogging around the clubs for years. Their website is pretty funny too. Ah well - I like 'em ;D www.rocksugarband.com/estore/estore.aspx

What really gets my back up is the way that any 'kid' out there would not look twice at a Journey song and even dismiss it as old and tired (which I 100% disagree with) then Simon Cowell comes along and they are allowed or even told to say that it is good. It just shows how fickle the record buying public are.
A couple more: If The Rolling Stones were to re-release Wild Horses without Susan Boyle murdering it first, it would not have received any air play. If Leonard Cohen had released Hallelujah before it was chosen as the 'okay you lot buy this one' single, that too would never have been played.
It just makes me so angry.

Not sure what you're saying here Pete but sometimes fantastic songs that were ignored in its day becomes a hit twenty, thirty years later because it was on a show, or a movie etc. Its nice to see them get their due. Examples that I can think of is Lust for Life by Iggy Pop (Trainspotting)... okay I can't think of any more right now but I'm sure there are some! ;D
