30 years ago today, Bon Scott left us... The scarey thing is it doesn't seem like five minutes since I was watching him carrying Angus aloft on his shoulders around the Victoria Hall in Stoke. Bon Scott... We salute you!

Saw Bon in the Glasgow Apollo in '79 not long after he had gone.
Alex & Bon together....who would mess wae them?

I was at a Memorial gig on Friday with Livewire who were tremendous and did the man proud, it was a celebration and was very well attended, a great success.

Yep, sorely missed He'd be about the same age as Brian Johnson if still alive. To his credit, BJ is pretty darn good for his age.... wonder if Bon would still be at the helm if he'd survived that night? Still got the newspaper clipping from the Evening Standard, announcing his death. Must see if I can get a scan of it...

i saw him at the rearanged concert at the gaumont in southampton,think it was his last performance,tho he did do touch to much on totp 2 weeks later
