Two great tracks there!
Must get Joe B's new album, its had very good reviews and it looks like the September album might be worth waiting for too.

Hi Penny, long time no speak! Got Black Rock a couple of weeks ago; only played it a few times so far tho. Quite a mixture of styles on there, considering it was supposed to be (I think I read) a bit more rocky than previous releases. I reckon his vocals are improving with each album tho, seems to be gaining in confidence Some great covers on there as usual I got his previous, Ballad of John Henry, when it came out this time last year, and played it regularly till his gig at the Royal Albert Hall in May. For various reasons, mostly to do with the venue, the gig was a let down for me, consequently I didnt feel like playing any of his albums again till this one came out 2 weeks ago. Seeing him in May again this year; just hope this doesnt happen again. Tho I doubt it will as it's at Hammersmith and we're standing ... not sitting Looking forward to the 'Black Country' gigs later this year... or whatever they're gonna call themselves

Hi Rob, Thanks for the review and I hope his concert in May isn't a disappointment this time, are you going with your brother? Have a great holiday with your missus and son in Bonnie Scotland.

Hi Pen, I'm sure the gig will be great - I'll try & get near the front; i dont think the mosh pit will be too rowdy for me! Yes, me, my son & my brother are going. Having to limit my son's gigs at the mo cos of his GCSE's, but the JB gig is on a Friday and before a week off, so should be a nice break for him .... if we survive ours hols up in Bonnie Scortlund

The press reports that poor Joe is devastated at the damage to his best guitar........all the equipment travelled freight but his beloved 1956 (great year!! ) Les Paul Gold Top went with in the hold of his flight..........apparently it's phucked
