I was reading about Black Country Communion on Joe Bonamassa's forum this morning. A gent by the name of Tony Conley (who operates the Rock Guitar Daily blog) had some very nice things to say about BCC's debut album. Check out some of these quotes: "Several songs fall under the category of instant classics, and will make their mark quickly." "I don't know how a DJ COULDN'T play it." "...this record hit me in an extremely immediate and substantial way that hasn't occurred in many, many seasons." "This record is in league with Led Zep's debut, Bowie's Ziggy Stardust, and Who's Next in terms of sheer scope and dimension." "When we were kids, I remember wishing that Entwistle, and Moon could be in a band with Plant and Page. Well, now they can." Those are some strong statements and comparisons! After reading these comments on Joe's forum I visited Tony's blog and read his entire review. I was already looking forward to this record, but now I am really excited. Here's a link to his review: rockguitardaily.blogspot.com/2010/06/black-country-communion.html Here also is a link to the Black Country Communion website, which features a video explaining how the band came together: www.bccommunion.com/

Thanks for the heads up on BCC Stuart, they sound like the dog's bollocks.
I've checked out some of the Youtube vids.. great stuff.
Being an admirer of Joe Bonamassa and an old Purple fan, these guys will definitely be worth seeing.
