Since it would seem that any further attempts at this will now be a concern solely fer the forum, we need to plan the event now.The traditional weekend for Sahbstock is the first weeks of november so the venue will need to be booked soon, who's up for that?Bands will need to be booked,if you would like SAHTB best contact either ZAHB or Zatch 19 since Sarge is no longer a member of the tribute, wonder why?

I enjoyed Ivory Blacks as the venue, the location is good, the beer is good, the sound is good the size is good and they don't kick you out early. Also I'm sure that Sarge said they lower the fees for a charity event.

I'll start saving up some money if necessary - by June I should have a bit and I could send it over to .... well over to somebody who handles that sort of thing.

Good, lets put aw the storms in teacups behind us and pull together, we all might not agree, but lets choose to have reasoned discussions where everyones poit of view is respected, and if get angry about what someone has said, lets just agree to differ and move on, if thats ok?

At the risk of sounding like Mrs Angry, which I'm not, I'm indifferent to the whole mess, if still yet another Platty puppetshould come on board and have a rant at/and or about me, I shall probably put them straight; it would be so much easier if they would just read what has already been posted
There'll always be trouble all pulling together if there's even just one pulling towards a different agenda. That's life.

Also I'm sure that Sarge said they lower the fees for a charity event. You should NEVER and i mean NEVER have to pay for a venue for a charity event, and any venue that want to charge shouldn't even be considered. Just my 2p's worth!

I don't know what its like over there, but here you can easily get a hall or lodge to host the event - they supply the booze and you do everthing else. We did that for my brother's memorial get together in just a few days.
Also, I could compile a video - lets say, ten minutes long or so with SAHB highlights to show the crowd if facilities for projecting it were set up. I'll work on it NOW and get it done and put it up on You Tube and get your thoughts about it. (this may take a few weeks or a month or so)
I'm sure if we get creative we can come up with interesting ideas!

I'm not sure if they did charge or if they did how much it was, but I do agree with your comment. What I didn't like about SAHBSTOCK I was the fact that we were all more or less kicked out early, it was as if we were no longer welcome.
