Heard on Planet Rock about the death in his sleep in Spain of Gary Moore. Another wonderful guitarist and bluesman gone. And in the 25th anniversary year of Phil Lynotts death too.

Wonderful player. Saw him in a smallish club with Colosseum 2 many moons ago.
Yet another fantastic musician gone but not forgotten. RIP

Another great guitarist bites the dust, what a bloody shame, saw him a couple of years ago in Glasgow, done a mix of Blues and his heavy rock stuff, must admit he was even better than i expected, blew me away.....R.I.P. Gary

Awe, I feel gutted! I was actually driving past the streets where Gary was born when the news came over the car radio, uncanny or what? Always intense and passionate when playing, instantly recognizable sound no matter what style or era he was playing, in my eyes nobody could touch his talent. His facial expressions said it all really! Still missing the talents of Phil Lynott after all these years too. Attachments:

If there is a heaven, the music must be amazing, coz there is wealth of talent up there and now another great guitar player adds to the ranks of departed greats.

I am still devastated. I saw him in 1984 at the Breaking Sound Festival at Le Bourget (a little town located in the suburbs of Paris) and in 1985 on the Run For Cover Tour and in 1987 on the Wild Frontier Tour and in 1993 on the After Hours Tour.
