I don't know if anyone's into this kind of stuff, but for over 30 years I've been listening to a lot of Avant Garde European music by the likes of Univers Zero, Art Zoyd, Albert Marcoeur, Etron fou Leloublan, Stormy Six, Samla Mammas Manna, Klaus Schulze, Edgar Froese etc. Is anyone else into this stuff or am I just a lone FREAK!!!?

Well, okay okay okay okay. I might be a freak, but I've made an amazing discovery. There's a music download site called mp3va.com which has MILLIONS of tracks by just about every band/artist you can possibly think of. They don't ask for your bank details up front. Now get this: they allow you to have 2 FREE tracks if you register your e-mail address with them (they send you a confirmation e-mail which takes you back to the site, then you can download the 2 freebies). I go to my local library, open a false e-mail account, download the two tracks, log off, then log back on again, open another e-mail account and download another 2, etc, etc, etc, etc. Sometimes 1 track can be an entire album. Absolutely FREE!!! They even have the two Tear Gas albums, Alex's "Roman Wall Blues" (1969) and "The Joker Is Wild" (1972). I should be working for NASA, not claiming JSA!!!!!

Hi, it's the FREAK again! Hope you liked my updated Wikipedia entry on SAHB's "Rock Drill" and "No Complaints Department." Jimmie Grimes is a friend of mine and he told me a lot of this stuff. I've known "The General" for many years. Alex even mentions him on "Give My Compliments To The Chef" ("...the General wants me on the phone").

Ta very much. ;D Hi Freak - this is as minimal as the font will go, hope it's ok - that's not abuse, that's just a bit of banter!!You're the first person that I can recall coming right out and calling himself a freak - bound to cause a reaction!! ;D

God, the weather's terrible here in Lancashire. It's been drizzling all day and I had to walk all the way to the chemist and back. I'm like a drowned rat.

Never having had any dealings with a roadworm before now, what is one usually like? Are they peculiar to Lancashire? I have relatives in Lancashire and I've never heard mention of such a thing as a roadworm. Great name!!
