Hi,
Just wondering if any Sahbsters are going to either Tubes Glasgow or Edinburgh dates next month?

Eccentric band that are one of the few remaining I have never got to see play live in the flesh, thought I may as well make the effort to scoot accross water and cross them off my bucket list!

Bit daft the way the 2 dates are spread a few days apart, or I would have stuck around for both.

What's that Glasgow Art Academy like as a small gig venue? Please don't say its shite, well too late now if it is, I've committed.

I get drawn back to Glasgow every few years somehow and always take in a gig while there, alas no more SAHB, but it was good while it lasted.

Any info on venue appreciated!

Well to answer my own question, gig venue was ok, glad someone decided to put the air conditioning on just before band came on, it was a sweatbox. Excellant gig, Fee Waybill fantastic frontman, was in stitches when he was talking about King Tuts (shithole), when the band played there about 10 years previously, having to do his costume changes in the fire escape. Funny guy, and great band.

And for anyone interested , they are playing same Art College venue again in Autumn 2016, although clips on YouTube of the current tour they seem to be playing same songs, so not worth another trip over for me this time.
