My memory of Slade goes back to around '73 I think it was. I was just getting into them. My family took me back to their homeland, The Nederlands, and whilst shopping I picked up Slade Alive their new album, at the time. I played that record everyday for three months while I was there. Drove me poor Aunt and her family to the brink. I returned to Auz, and everyone I knew already had a copy as well, because Slade had done some gigs in Melbourne while I was away.

Saw Slade in '79 or '80 at Edinburgh Odeon...... same place I saw SAHB funnily enough. A mind blowing live act and noddy had a voice that would strip paint at 100 paces!!!
