I love the fish stuff and his solo work. For me I get the best of both worlds with him solo and the band still going.

Used to spend all day and night at the saturday jam sessions in there (except for a couple of hours excursion to see The Buddies if they were at home). Used to go to the Bungalow 3 or 4 times a week. Seen the bands you mentioned and loadsa others, including (if I disremember correctly): Dead Skunk Band, Scheme, Davy Pattison Band, Spizz Oil, Spizz Energi, Athletico Spizz 80, Otway & Barratt, The Freshies, Chou Pahrot, Those French Girls, The Cuban Heels, Liberty Bodice, Fine Lines, Fingerprintz (later to become the Silencers), Fire Engines, Defiant Pose, The Fegs (I think), thingyney Rejects... Cheezuz! Profanity checker didnae allow Cockney... so many I can't remember at the moment, but will add as I do.... happy days!

Anybody like this band, I know someone on their forum goes under the name of Vambo, is Vambo on this forum too?. I prefer the Steve Hogarth Marillion to the Fish era. I love Marillion Pete and love Steve Hogarth, have three of their songs up in my blogs on my myspace page.I do have to say though that Fish is brill too and that he sings the songs lavender,Kayleigh and assasin Brill as they suit his voice, and also a fantastic front man. They both have stage presence.

Brilliant, I try to see them as often as I can. I wasn't too fussed on the Somewhere Else album but Happiness is the Road was great.
