If not, please forgive my haverin... Indeed it is. The name is usually spelled with a decimal point type thing between the two words, which I can't do on this keyboard Dream.Theater, maybe.... Anyway - I've never heard never heard of a Mike Baker??? The singer is called James LeBrie, the drummer is Mike Portnoy, don't know of any Bakers... But it would be pretty cool and groovy if one of them was a SAHB fan. It is more than likely, as they cite a lot of British prog bands of the 70s as influences. vib

Yup, I am a big fan of them, especially now they have replaced that squawking singer. Mike Portnoy is an incredible drummer, Ted Mckenna agrees, so he must be good! Try and get hold of a Liquid Tension Experiment CD, features members of Dreamtheatre, all instrumental but superb musicianship. Also Transatlantic, a "super group" made up of the best of the new prog rock bands (Flower Kings, Dreamtheater, Spocks Beard, Marillion).

I think that must have been many years ago - The amazing James LaBrie has been singing with them for a very long time now. Charles Dominicii was the first Dream Theater singer - so I suppose it was he with the squark? Never heard him myself. Chris Collins was the first singer but then they were still called Majesty, I think... I haven't yet got Liqued Tension Experiment - it might be on my list for Santa. Vib

Top drawer band, seen them in Dublin a few years back, have all their stuff, my only criticisms if you could call it that is they play too well if you know what I mean, even their cover stuff is too close to the mark. My son is a big fan too.
