That's it confirmed folks, the place to meet fellow SAHBsters after the Peoples Palace Exhibition is The Clutha Vaults, about 6ish. there's a solo singer on between 4 and 7 then a band called Heavy Load will play from 9 till late, a Rock band who cover some S.A.H.B. tunes.Space will be made for 50/60 of us, although the venue will have other , regular punters in too. The manager assures me he will have nibbles for munching, but if you want a proper meal, then you can pop out for that, there's plenty of places around. Hope to see you all there, and make a special day into a special night too......Vambo rool ok.......The Clutha Vaults 167-169 Stockwell Street Glasgow, G1 4SP Scotland Don't forget to bring a camera for pics and videos. Can you Skype from there? Of course we will be all tooled up with cameras, Gin, we won't forget our Children of them Colonies - if someone brings a laptop..............

I'm briging me!
I've been telling all the Scottish guys I know around these parts about this (and believe me there's a few) and at least one will now be going ([un[fortunately he'll be up there for the closing gig at the Soundhaus) and the rest are going to contact their grannies/uncles/brothers/sisters/mistresses. Hope that helps spread the word and boost numbers

I'm wavering on making the trip over for this... hope I can make it... Oh, ya gotta TRY, Gordon!!!! Kat too, if she can. There's every likelyhood that the exhibit itself, that which remains open to the public AFTER the weekend 4/5th, although it will still be special, is hopefully to be bolstered, quite considerably, by some AMAZING memorabilia which will ONLY be there that weekend, due to the constraints of space for permanent display. I think the People's Palace has been quite bowled over by the very professional enthusiasm with which this has been put together and, far as I can see, there's mainly only one person to thank for that - although others have willingly assisted - soon as I can, there will be more Karma for Stu

cavalry ha ha..........white man put wagons in circle n hide ARF!! No, that's what Gordon said it felt like when Darling Man & I burst in to THE NOTS 3rd Edinburgh gig, on their 1st tourette......sadly, despite the organisers promise of great publicity and fabulous turn out, there was a good deal of space in the function suite of the country house hotel in Penicuik.......we thought we couldn't go, as we had made a dinner reservation in Edinburgh............we were done by 9, so we grabbed a cab and Penicuik HO!!! We were, of course, just a little worse for drink and threw open the double doors like, well, the cavalry come to make it better!! Sorry, off thread

Pity you can't spell Compliments thou your Ladyship Cheeky Arctic Foxy One - at this time in the morning, after a four day headache, I can barely spell bread, thou. I've had trouble with congartulations before now!! (actually it's true I do go all kind of dyslexic both verbally and in writing - most discumknockerating!!)
