Hi Victor, what Mr Colin McB is saying is that he fully supports the idea of having unworthy topics such as Utter Twaddle and Flirting banished to a chat room. These topics are considered by the esteemed Mr Colin McB to be no better than the urine which he passes regularly throughout the day, and should never be allowed on the same forum as those educationally illuminating topics............... "DINNER" or "WHERE ARE YOU GOING FOR YOUR HOLIDAYS" I do hope this gives you a reasonable explanation, and if you require any further translation, then do feel free to ask. Meanwhile you could engage Mr Colin McB in some meaningful rhetoric by asking him how St Mirren fared on Sunday, and how does he rate Mr Nakamura as an exponent of the dead ball, vis a vis a taker of free kicks.

What I was really saying was that serious - or should I say on-topic - posts should not be infested - if possible - with off-topic ramblings. ;D

Naw, naw Faitha! I don't mind ANY thread at all, in fact I get quite a laugh from some of them, but when a thread of interest goes off-topic, and is subject to one-on-one chatting, its just off-putting. The Angry Haggis thread is just one such example. Out of around 60 posts, about 6 are on-topic. Very frustrating. BTW, Nakamura is an excellent taker of the free kick. Thats why Celtic brought him on late in the match, in the hope of gaining a free-kick for him to almost invariably score from. Until the 88th minute St.Mirren avoided doing so. However, as Saints were cruising to a well deserved draw, he went down quicker than you could say TORA! TORA! TORA! The referee (the 'Celtic minded' Eddie Smith) had a good view and blatantly cheated by not awarding the foul to St.Mirren as Nakamura tackled the Saints player from behind. Fact.
