For those who have suggested that SAHBstock1 had something that 2 didn't, I would have to agree. Didn't know anyone at SS1, apart from the company I was in, but it felt like a Party, in it's truest sense, even to a stranger such as myself. SS2 was a gig. An Incredibly Good one, and I'm in absolutely no way knocking it, but it was a gig. SS1 brought me onto this forum because I could see for myself from the night that there was a reason why it had felt like a party. I have to say, if I'd missed SS1 (which I'm Very Glad to say I didn't...Thanks Stu, Jack and TK!) and turned up for the first time at SS2 I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have come on forum ( who said "5hit" there??? : ) ). Don't really know why I'm postin this (do I ever??!!), suppose I'm hoping something will happen that will bring back that Party feeling. (I've got a box of Party Poppers if Anyone is interested). Your thoughts posted here (which you posted because you can and you felt like it - both sound reasons!! ) echoes the sentiment of several earlier posts, which is a good thing - seems we're all singing the same song and not having a pop at anyone or anything. I am delighted that SSI brought you BACK to this forum and I'm just as delighted to see you back again now - welcome back
Strikes me, Cath, that if you're in a party mood and you take the party poppers - you WILL have a party!!

Strikes me, Cath, that if you're in a party mood and you take the party poppers - you WILL have a party!! I can understand the differences between Sahbstock I & II. After all, don't we remember fondly the "firsts" in our lives? That said, each and every Sahbstock will be what people make it. I liked Sahbstock II better because I got to meet Chris, Zal, Ian and others from this forum via Skype. That was quite the emotional high. A live web broadcast would make Sahbstock III even more sensational ! Hint, hint Ian.

(is there the tiniest chance, Sir Gin, that you were so full of celebration - or was it Guinness? - that you may have forgotten all those that you "met" that night?? ;D Bless you and your stripey outfit and all)

"Minnie Ginnie" is going this year, as I sadly cannot personally attend (entirely due to funding!). Who can I send him too? PM me - maybe Catherine could look after him?

I could look after Minnie Ginnie if you want, Ginnie. He will be safe and I will make sure he eats properly and doesn't drink too much. I'm sure he will enjoy the flight from Cardiff to Glasgow as well.

Thanks, Penny. Maybe instead of sending him over by mail I'll just get you to print him out?

Thanks, Penny. Maybe instead of sending him over by mail I'll just get you to print him out? Thats a good idea. I will buy some new ink for our printer - we need a nice, smart looking, clear picture of Minnie Ginnie! I will make sure he gets his photo taken and maybe he can have an autograph book as well! ;D
