I passed a shop in the 'pink' quarter of town which had a picture of a strapping lad in his underpants and underneath it said 'we sell Gun Oil'. I am reliably informed it is not something I would want to put down a rifle barrel to stop it going rusty.

Morning Fellow Forumsters! (About 3 of us) Not sure what I'm doing today. Bit of washing up, watch Homes Under The Hammer, read The Guardian and do the crossword. Will also do some ironing and try not to scream as I have yet another day stuck in the house. Am also doing some sewing. Making soft toys called Misfits and Christmas decorations as well. I love making things. What are YOU up to today?

I received a phone call from a pal I have not spoken to for a while. It turns out he had pressed the wrong button on his phone but it was nice to chat. Perhaps we should all do that a bit more often.

Lovely trip to Asda Pontprennau today with Katie and Gareth. Gareth pushed the wheelchair, Kate pushed the trolley. Lovely to be out of the house in the fresh air, don't care about the rain. Viewers to see the house today and Wednesday.

Today the tractor with its new engine innards was turned over and after a bit of persuasion started. It was like the birth of a new being. Not quite as perfect as I expected with an odd leak here and there which were all sorted and the clutch which had not been adjusted so when I went for my inaugural ride I pressed the clutch down- put it in gear and hey presto.........nothing. Bit of adjust later and it was fine. Looks too good to use now.

New plaster on this morning and I'm able to walk on it, rather sore to say the least so I won't be going far. Got this for another 6 weeks then will have a walking boot. Going on rather longer than the 8 weeks I expected, but it's lovely to be upright again!

Catherine is always so kind and thoughtful, always does what she can to cheer up us Sahbsters as much as she can, I know that you like myself always appreciate it. She has always been kindness itself to everyone, getting signatures, tickets etc for others not just from Sahb either.

The tshirt looks fabulous Addy! Max did indeed do a great job. I love the colour as well. Was looking at Weird Scenes FB page and they have some interesting designs. I've got one of them, may get one for my youngest for Christmas. Have a great Saturday Sahbsters everywhere

It must have been really fascinating. Did you get to see most of the exhibition despite its being so packed? Fabulous pictures in the book too. Would love to go to Pompeii one day. Haven't had a bad Saturday, have only done washing and ironing, nothing exciting, got to be done though!
