When out and bought my "Christmas Present" early... Was going to buy a cheap Epiphone Les Paul Special (under $200) but was browsing a local pawn shop and came across this: A 2006 Ibanez ARX300. Now normally I wouldn't look at a Japanese guitar, but it looked so good and played too good for me to ignore. Paid $259 for it, and I didn't have to pay tax. It was going for $330 on the 'net and was over $500 new. I'm really pleased with it - the action is great, easy to play, and gives me a solid hardbody instrument to play with.

Made myself a Mic Pop Filter and saved $20. Made from margarine container type lid, some pantyhose, hangar wire and some other bits laying around. It works, too!

Well done Ginnie, that looks quite a professional job!!
As this is the what are you PLAYING thread, I will say that I am considering taking up playing the flute again. Stopped playing in my 20's, but having heard some music I used to be able to play on the radio the other week, it got me interested again.
