We had tomato and ricotta capeletti (wee pasta parcels, anyway!) with roasted cherry tomato sauce; (to my shame all store bought) t around 6.30, by the time I'd been Skyped by His Chrisness! Hot buttered crumpets and Darjeeling tea (Earl Grey for my darling man) at around 8.30.
Tonight? Store bought - well it's during the week! - Chinese.

Veggie spaghettie bolognese....tis quick and easy and there was a game on (which Liverpool won).....copious amounts of anaesthetic and medicinal alcohol (to watch the game) normally eat around 8 - 9 but last night it was 6. Tonight, veggie curry. I'm not a vegetarian but everyone else is.....if you can't beat 'em join 'em!

".....Jambalaya ...... home made sausage bread ...... ice cold San Miguel Dark" Hey Vic - that sounds like something I'd like to try! According to Wikipedia (where would we be without it!) your Jambalaya is a cajun sensation (!) so I might be able to find some of that. Sausage Bread I've never heard of in this country! So I might have to try a little harder with that! And I enjoy a little San Miguel myself! But I've never seen the "dark" version. So I'm gonna embark on a little NY cultural exchange! I'll let you know how I get on!! Big Louie
