Just had chance to log on and read the previous comments. I think its extremely important to always have a tribute to sahb perform as the headline act at sahbstock. I do feel very priviledged to be on the bill as I am based down in South Yorkshire. I guess I have the advantage over some original bands with some of the material being written with Zal but I'll quite happily understand when SAHBStock 4 comes around and the organisers would like to give someone else a go (I will be gutted though lol). I wouldn't have returned to do a solo acoustic set like the first sahbstock as I think people much prefer a live rockin' band. I'm really looking forward to SAHBStock III and we've managed to fix it into part of our November Tour so its a very exciting time for us! If you'd like to check out the new album for FREE you can download it on www.musicglue.com/invisibleidolsCya all soon! We're really giddy about it Matt, Joe & Damo www.invisibleidols.com

A wee announcement from me, in the last two Sahbstocks i managed to blag some stuff for raffles alomg with many other good folks i hasten to add, this year i'm not really gonna have the time to do it due to other commitments etc, most importantly the impending arrival of second grandchild scheduled on the 31st of july.
So my apologies to any that were hoping for free amps etc, but thats not to say anyone else could do what i did, please feel free, check out the Sahbstock thank you thread for contributors last year.

Cavey worked really hard on the compere role - but no-one could hear him past the first few rows. Since it was a bigger venue and bigger crowd (and VERY noisy) than SAHBstock I, none of us all knew everyone and I don't think that helped him at all. The intimate nature of the first one was much more conducive to a compere.

If my services are required I'll be only too happy to do so and will be a lot louder this time, as for the raffle, if anyone fancys doing it, please do so, one of the reasons i can't is that i'm using a pretty buggered computer with no email, (apologies to anyone who has emailed me and had no response)
Many companies are quite happy to donate, but require some knid of emailed proof that the gig really exists, so a copy of the gig poster always helps and obviously the recipient charity, also if you want anything from Gibson Guitars , they need aboout 2 months prior warning, so it ain't just a case of lifting the phone and getting something , i'm guessing that those who contributed get some kind of tax concession for donations hence why all the Ts are crossed and the Is dotted. As a final thought, i know Lindsay Drew Mikes daughter won one of the Marshall amps, which was great, anyone know who won the other???

Indeed Linzi won one - the rest of it was such a buggers' muddle - despite forward planning, albeit remotely from Shropshire - that we had prizes left over and no-one knowing what they had one when they went to claim their prize.........PA system again, set for bands, rather than PA, I guess - we couldn't have planned it any more concisely yet were buggered when we got to the venue - including by my wee cousin's pal donating a trike ride - during the raffle!! ;D

I'm sure it will be fantastic - it certainly deserves to be with the effort that you put into Sarge but the family feeling of SAHBstock I, sets it apart, the whole shebang has grown and evolved, which is a good thing, after all that means more funds raised for charity, which is what it's all in aid of
