On Wednesday, just past, we went to Theatre Severn in Shrewsbury to see TALON, an Eagles tribute band - been going since 1997 - very slick, very chic, very good vocal harmonies and everyone a multi-instrumentalist, they've just poached a new member - Keith Buck, from Wishbone Ash - great voice, great guitar and slide guitar - if you like the Eagles music, you will like these guys - a really good gig

Was wearing a SAHB tee as per so got talking to some guys about them (as per again!) A cracking night out.

Martin Turner's Wishbone Ash in an odd chapel in Halifax. I had a catastrophe at home so got there late. The place is all A over T so you enter the hall from behind the band. Not bad if you are on time but not too good when the place is full and you have to walk round the band to get in. Most enjoyable never the less.

I saw Gary Holton and The HMK twice in concert ( Walsall and Shrewsbury IIRC) and they were a fantastic live band with Holton an exceptional frontman.
