Last night. Telfords Warehouse, Chester. Thea Gilmore. Occasionally you'll find a video on Youtube of a gig you've been to but what are the chances of finding one the very next morning

Sadly we won't be at any of the European dates that Chris Slade's STEEL CIRCLE is playing - all over the place - NOT Alex will catch them though
Here's wishing them well, Chris (ours) travels to London tomorrow, thence to Switzerland for rehearsal - keeps him out of trouble, I suppose!!
Hot off the press.....

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the idea that Chris is playing in a tribute band...

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the idea that Chris is playing in a tribute band... Fact is frequently stranger than fiction, just as long as he IS playing, I guess that's the main thing and Chris Slade is a top guy - the two Chris' spend the first 10 minutes after coming offstage thanking one another for being so good and making each other's job easy - one so petite and slim and fit and the other one is our Chris, 6' of bear hug!!!! From what I can gather, Steel Circle happens to, for now, play mainly AC/DC stuff, I, personally, wouldn't have explained the band as a tribute band, I figure it's just the poster's way of explaining who they are and what they do - but whaddo I know?? Then again, they are all tarts, they play if you pay......within reason

Paul really is a great drummer, but you never see his name mentioned in any great drummer list. He deserves to be though!
