First things first. I don't like driving through Nottingham. Last time I went to see SAHB I got a bit lost - as did Dora the Explorer on satnav. Too many small streets eading nowhere which you don't find out until you are down the wrong end of them. I had the same experience again last night. Also I now have a new rule. Don't read a review before you see the show. I read a poor one at the weekend and so I had a bad feeling before I got there which wasn't justified. So for the show itself it was great. Lots of very clever synchronised video stuff at the back of the stage with live images of the band overlaid. They played all the material you would expect form the earliest to the last album. Not quite bouncing around as they would have done 30 years ago but then neither was the audience. Speaking of the audience I would say it was noticable there were more female attendees than one would see at any other gig and they all fell into a certain age bracket. I hope they do a dvd of the show because there was a bit too much to take in and the backdrop would be worth seeing again. Particularly a bit with cowboys and cows on. My co-pilot seemed most desparate to see the grand exit to 'for your pleasure' at the end and was not disappointed.

Looked like the woman who "filled in" for Eno was using an old synthesiser from the early 70's too.

I know a lot of people would agree that it would be very special to be able to post on here that the last gig we went to and had a wonderful night out was at a SAHB gig! (Got to keep trying, it might work one day)

I thought I could hear sniggering then.........still, as long as they're happy!!

Saw Beth Hart at the HMV Academy in Manchester last night
Best show I've been to in a long time, her band are something else. Check out the kid playing guitar at the end of this clip... I was totally blown away. Sounded very much like a young Gary Moore

Rockin' Robin, tweet tweedily deedily dee Rockin' Robin's reallyy gonna rock tonight!!
I shall mention the forthcoming 4th anniversary of his, as yet, unsubmitted Q & A............ Ted doesn't like to rush things
