Welcome onboard snapper, you don't have pics from the Party Boys gig in the old Cathouse in Glasgow on the 3rd Jan '93 by any chance? I'm looking at the negs just now.Can only make out John Martyn (RIP) The Party Boys,Stevie ,Zal,Chris,Ted and Ronnie. There's a couple of nice shots of Dan and Zal screaming down the mic and another of Dan and,I think,Pete.Looks as if Pete was wearing a woolen bunnett. The band I was in at the time was support that night. John Martyn, Dan McCafferty & Pete Agnew where there too! I can't see any other negs I can't recognise, sorry. What was the name of your band? BTW this was the night I was christened snapper,by my big hero John Martyn. He also called me a cnut that night, but snapper seems more appropriate. We where called Brazil, I still have the poster framed in my Kitchen. It was a great night.

I remember talking to John Martyn and (I think) his son,Spencer, who was rolling him a big phat doobie. I take it you were the first band on? If so,I'd probably still have been in the dressing room. Sorry.

Howsitgaun folks? I'm The Talbot Kid,checking in from Auchinleck, the capital of East Ayrshire. SAHB tae me have always been the Greatest, one of the first singles I ever bought was Boston Tea Party, and I've still got it. For the last 20 years I've been the roadie/driver/merch salesman/chucker outer, for my mates The Trashcan Sinatras, and you guys have ALWAYS been an inspiration. I'm no long back from an American tour with the boys, where I had my range of SAHB t-shirts oan most nights. In fact one of my "duties" was to wash John the guitarists black and white stripey t-shirt before each gig looking forward tae having the craic with everyone.

Welcome aboard Talbot Kid. Browse a few threads to see what goes on here - most of it is madness, I think but it suits us fine. BTW I'm Canadian so my English might look funny!

Thought I'd say hola since I'm the newest member! I'm Richy...humble singer with The Sensational Alex Harvey Tribute Band. Much of my life is accidentally dedicated to converting people to SAHB's music...usually with a few jars in me: "WHIT DAE YE MEAN YE'VE NEVER HEARD OF ALEX HARVEY??? SIT DOON. AH'LL LEARN YE!!" *reaches for copy of the Impossible Dream* ;D ;D ;D Anyway, hello!! Hope you're all well.

Man you did a superb job at Sahbstock - sent shivers down my spine - and that was just from watching the videos. I can just imagine what it was like live! I probably run into more people over here (Canada) who haven't heard of SAHB, which is okay because then its like my personal secret treasure, sort of...

Hi, my name is Catherine, I was born in Scotland and have also lived in Ireland and Wales; I'm now perfectly happily living in England - I've now lived away from Glasgow longer than I lived there - not keen on being old enough to have done that!!!!
I have one older brother, who is indeed fortunate to have me as his younger sister ;D His hair is now longer than in the photograph - which is as it should be
My brother, Chris Glen (one "n" in Glen : and me - all new boots and panties ;D
