Sorry, I should not have made that last post. This is the ideal opportunity and a good idea Ginnie, to do just what the thread says
It's only polite, after all!!

Hi, I'm creamboy. Jon is my real name but I've run a dairy and a cream delivery service for 20 odd years now. I found this site by accident and thought it was appropriate to someone of my age....like minded people and all of that.
We are currently going through a retro phase so we have taken a lot of the vans off the road and re-introduced push bikes with chill boxes. It's being received really well but is quite costly to operate - reduced coverage and all.
You want cream, I'm yer man.

Hi Creamboy You've just caused me a memory crisis but having consulted with 'she who must be obeyed', I am now 99% sure that we had someone that delivered cream to our door in the early eighties and the name of that service was 'Creamboy' Any chance that this is the same company? Welcome aboard by the way

ian,
I don't think it was me, my deliveries are in the West Country. Cream delivery was not uncommon in the 70's and 80's though. Retro is big nowadays. Can anyone remember having their fizzy-pop delivered by a Corona lorry. That's another business opportunity that is due a comeback.

My mum used to refuse to buy it on the grounds that we drank it. I could never understand her logic there.
"Every bubble's passed its fizzical". Ain't nostalgia great!

Yes, I remember that line from the labels! We only ever had lemonade or dandilion and burdock, only in the summer though, never in the winter months. Used to have hot Ribena then.
